Nanotechnology plays a crucial role in food preservation, offering innovative solutions for monitoring and enabling the creation of packaging with unique functional properties. The nanomaterials used can extend shelf life foods, enhance safety, keep consumers informed about contamination or spoilage, repair damage, even release preservatives to prolong durability items. Therefore, this review aims provide an overview diverse applications nanotechnology packaging, highlighting its key advantages. Safety considerations regulations related are also addressed, along evaluation potential risks human health environment, emphasizing that field faces challenges terms safety regulations. Additionally, development nanotechnology-based drive advancements preservation by creating safer, more sustainable, higher-quality packaging. Thus, offers efficiency functionality delivering substantial benefits both manufacturers consumers.
